Lemi Duncan
Lemi Duncan is a bilingual performer and voice artist with over 15 years of experience in MCing, narration, voice acting, acting, and reporting.
She brings warmth, clarity, and professionalism to every project, from international events to creative productions and storytelling. From 2013 to 2014, she appeared regularly as Cindy on NHK Educational TV’s High School Course: Communication English 1. From 2015 to 2017, she worked as a navigator and reporter for BS Asahi’s CNN Saturday Night. From March 2017 to September 2020, she was a regular reporter on NHK WORLD’s great gear. She also appeared regularly on NHK Radio 2’s Kiso Eigo 3 from April 2018 to March 2020, expanding her work into radio broadcasting. Since May 2020, she has worked as a reporter for NHK WORLD’s BOSAI: Science that Can Save Your Life, and began appearing on NHK WORLD Doctor’s Insight in May 2021. Drawing on her bilingual skills, she works across a wide range of fields, including English-language educational content, narration, acting in both Japanese and English, and event MCing. When she’s not working, you’ll likely find her outdoors, scuba diving, hiking, traveling, or at the gym— usually with her favorite music in her ears.
