How foreign-model casting is priced
There is no flat rate — and any agency quoting one before seeing your brief is guessing. A fair quote is built from a few clear factors:
Usage and media
Where it runs — web, social, OOH, TV, print — and how broadly. Wider usage means a higher buyout.
Usage period
How long you license the images or footage. A six-month web licence costs less than a one-year national campaign.
Booking time
Foreign talent is often booked by the hour or day; overtime beyond the agreed call adds to the fee.
Exclusivity
If a talent cannot work for competing brands during the term, expect a premium — often two to three times base.
Talent profile
Experience, following and how in-demand a face is all move the rate — a new face and a known one are not priced alike.
Secondary use
Re-cutting or re-running content later (二次使用) is agreed up front, so there are no surprises afterwards.
